[Beauty Corner] Budget Cosmetic Must Have: BB CREAM SPF 20 – E.L.F. REVIEW

Hey all!

I have so many new favourite budget cosmetics that I can’t wait to share with you all and my thoughts on them. However, I thought I would start with my top number one favourite at the moment.

As we all know, I am obsessed with E.L.F Cosmetics and NYX. They are my top two favourite brands, however I would love to share my very, very top favourite that I cannot find any decent reviews online for. It’s such a shame as well, because if I had have read a decent review on it I would have given it a try much sooner.

Capture.PNGE.L.F BB Cream Spf 20

If you are unsure on what this BB cream is, here is a description directly from E.L.F’s website:

Looking for weightless, protective coverage? This BB Cream foundation blends super easily, giving you a clean complexion with UVA/UVB SPF 20 protection. It’s also infused with cucumber, jojoba, aloe, and vitamin E so your skin stays healthy and hydrated all day long.

What’s in the BB cream?

ACTIVE INGREDIENT(S): Octinoxate 7.5%, Oxybenzone 4%, Octisalate 5%
INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Titanium Dioxide, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Cyclohexasiloxane, Cyclopentasiloxane, Sorbitan Olivate, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Sodium Chloride, Quaternium-18 Bentonite, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Dimethicone, Zinc Stearate, Talc, Vp/Hexadecene Copolymer, Bisabolol, Tocopheryl Acetate (Ve), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Mica, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Methylisothiazolinone, Fragrance (Parfum)
MAY CONTAIN: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499)

How Have I Used The BB Cream?

After primer, I apply the BB cream directly on with my fingers with just one pump from the bottle and dot it all over my face – e.g. little dots on my cheeks, nose, chin, upper lip and forehead and then I blend it out in circular motions over my face with my fingertips until completely blended. I then will proceed with powder and finish the rest of my makeup routine.

Is The BB Cream Great With Coverage?

Yes! This is what confuses me, every review I have read or watched people have said the coverage is awful, I have not found this at all. I prefer this BB cream to any of my foundations, purely because the coverage is fantastic and it makes my skin feel wonderful after wear as well. I don’t have perfect skin, this BB cream covers blemishes perfect. I love it.

Does The BB Cream Get Oily At The End Of The Day?

When I read/watched reviews, people complained of oiliness. The problem is, they didn’t put powder or setting spray on, which I have done and I have found every day that I wear it I do not have a problem with oiliness. My skin is naturally oily as well, and I have not had any issues with wearing it. I would probably agree if I didn’t put powder or setting spray on that it would get oily, but it’s a BB cream, you will need to put powder to set it nicely and then finish of with your setting spray. Just like you would with foundation, if you left just purely foundation of course it’ll get oily!

Rate Out Of 10?

10/10, it’s my new everyday wear! I really recommend this BB cream to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed.

It is affordable, you do not need to fork out a lot of money at all. If you are in Australia, go to your nearest K-Mart as this is where I have usually had luck finding E.L.F. products or alternatively a pharmacy may have some luck with E.L.F. products although I haven’t found a pharmacy near me that does store them unfortunately so K-Mart is my go to.

Thanks for reading!

I’ll be posting up more Budget Cosmetic Must Haves soon as I have quite a lot to recommend.
