Let me show you the extent of my adoration.
Shall I strip off my skin and parade merely for a glimpse of interest?
You are like gravity,
Forever grounding my unbalanced footsteps in the symphony of the seasonal beat,
Where earths shadows peer into my soul.
One blink away from you is unbearable,
As unknowingly time was not on ones side.
Beckoning for one’s adoration reciprocation,
Discovering no avail.
To be found standing alone once again.
The frightful understanding,
Of adoration and the acceptance no longer.
Yet being presented with one’s numbness,
Clutched tight to the damaged bone.
The numbness creates such weight,
Does one tempt fate to float?
Does one seek fleet?
Such a strange sensation,
To be alone.
