Boxing Day Thoughts

Hey readers!

How did your Christmas go? It’s coming to the end of Boxing Day here. It’s absolutely flown by.

After getting home so late from the in laws last night, we crashed and had quite a huge sleep in. I guess that didn’t help in making the day feel long by any means!

We had an easy day of food, just toast and noodles really. It wasn’t that eventful for us, as we had so much food yesterday we couldn’t stomach the thought of larger meals.

We have taken the tree down already, (yes it’s early!) this is because we were gifted a rocking chair for the nursery and we don’t have room to put the box anywhere else as the tree was using so much space due to the sheer size of it.

So we did that, we also went for a nice walk in the sunshine which was lovely. It’s getting quite hot here in Australia now, so the sun felt like death but we needed to stretch our legs.

Before we knew it, it was after lunch time and the day had just flown by. It’s been a relaxing day in the grand scheme of things, we are now relaxing in bed with lavender misting through our oil diffuser and trying to unwind.

Boxing Day is always such a strange day, it feels like a huge filler of a day because Christmas Day uses so much energy and many emotions. It just feels like a day dedicated to wrapping your thoughts back into shape and getting back to the routine.

I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas, now for New Years!

Speak soon readers!
