What’s Your Favourite Quote And Why?

Rome wasn’t built in a day.

This quote has been said by me at least once a day over the last few weeks. I guess it’s because moving onto 2020, I had a lot of time to think about what type of things I wanted to achieve.

I have quite broad goals that I won’t be able to achieve in just this year. They are more long term goals, such as being able to work independently for myself. This isn’t something that can happen in a year, this will be something that I will need to work at for many years. It will take dedication, and as the quote suggests, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

That is something that needs to be understood not just by me but by many. A lot of us tend to throw in the towel and give up too soon, rather than persist and maintain our focus on the light at the end of the tunnel. This is something that the quote is helping me to see, it takes time to build even just the foundation to a stable future.

Time, patience, and motivation!
