Favourite Season (Blogging Challenge)

Good morning!

Welcome to day 9 of the 15 Day Blogging Challenge. If you would like to join in, please read more here.

Favourite Season?

My favourite season is Autumn.

I love the way the leaves turn red, gold, brown – all my favourite colours.

I love the sound crunchy leaves make when you walk on them.

I love the smell when you step outside first thing in the morning.

The days slowly become more and more cold, I love the feeling when you pull on your jacket/cardigan for the first time in months. You feel safe and snug.

I love how it becomes late afternoon and the sun sets earlier than it used to and it gives you the feeling of closure to a day. In Summer, the days seem endless, like there is a rushed end to the day even though the sun is still up.

I love Autumn so much, it brings such beautiful temperatures and the days just feel meaningful for me. I don’t know why, I don’t feel the same for Spring – even though they are sort of similar temperature wise and what not. I just feel like there is something special about Autumn.

What is your favourite season?

  1. My favourite season is Spring. Winter is much too cold for me so I look forward to seeing the plants and flowers come to life. The Cherry Blossom flower blooms by me in Branch Brook Park, a county park in New Jersey. It has the largest collection of cherry blossom trees in the United States. There is a festival in the park every year in April. Many people have wedding photos taken. More than 18 different varieties grow each year, which makes the park a visual feast for the eyes. Did I mention I love Spring?

    1. That sounds so beautiful! Cherry blossoms are stunning!! I haven’t seen one of those in many years, I feel like I came cross it once in a Japanese garden in Sydney NSW. I remember being absolutely amazed by how beautiful it was. Isn’t the word for cherry blossom Sakura? Even that word in itself is beautiful 😍🌸
